IAA has always been dedicated to developing young talent in the marketing and communications industry. The IAA produces programs for students as well as those who have taken for their first step on the career ladder.
The IAA Young Professionals exist solely to enable young professionals and senior students to get a firm foothold in the industry. The IAA Young Professionals is designed to help dynamic young people to engage and learn from our senior chapter members, through professional development, mentoring and networking programmes led by our Young Professionals’ Committee.
The IAA UK Young Professionals’ Committee produce the highly regarded PAC (Participate-Associate-Communicate) Course, our annual three-day residential advertising course taking place at Merton College, Oxford, which celebrated 25 years in 2014. This annual media training course is designed to stimulate debate, discussion and communication whilst developing a greater understanding of the advertising process – from the client, agency and media owner perspective – for media and marketing executives, planners and representatives who are relatively new to the international media industry.
In addition each year the IAA Young Professionals’ Committee produce a number of social programmes for the chapter including 5-a-side-footy tournament, bowling tournament, general knowledge quiz, and a PAC Reunion.
There are already more than 1,000 Young Professional IAA members worldwide, with YP Chapters in 12 countries.
