The IAA UK’s annual thought leadership programme is headlined by the IAA Business Briefing and Lunch series, which takes place at the Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park Hotel, Knightsbridge, London. Highly regarded speakers – usually senior brand marketers from multinational organisations – present case studies and share insights into the world of global brand development. During the past few years speakers have included Sir Martin Sorrell (WPP), Maurice Levy (Publicis), Jerry Buhlmann (Dentsu Aegis), Monika Schulze (Zurich Insurance Group), John Rudaizky (EY), and Kate Islner (Microsoft) to name but a few.

The IAA hosts a number of seminar and panel discussions each year on a range of topics such as Future of Media, Mobile Marketing, and Digital Download, with panels featuring leading practitioners from clients, agencies & advisories. As a constituent member of the Debating Group, the IAA UK Chapter also hosts an annual debate on marketing communications related issues at the House of Commons Debate.

Since 2008 the IAA UK chapter has hosted an annual Global Brand Think Tank, which consists of 75-100 individuals from three stakeholder groups – international clients, networked agencies and global media owners – with two-thirds of the think-tank being senior brand owners.

These events are the perfect platform for thought-leadership, networking and exchanging ideas, with a specific focus on international issues across our industry.
